Trained by Darth Sidious, he plays a key role in the Phantom Menace as an enforcer of the Sith's plans to overthrow the Galactic Republic.
Maul’s combat prowess is demonstrated through his exceptional lightsaber techniques and ferocity in battle. Despite his apparent demise in "The Phantom Menace," he survives and resurfaces in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebels," showcasing his resilience and quest for vengeance. His complex character arc includes a struggle for power and identity, further explored through his leadership of the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate and his ongoing conflict with the Jedi and Sith. Darth Maul’s legacy is defined by his dark presence, intricate backstory, and enduring impact on the Star Wars narrative.
