If you would like to send in your saber for us to weather then this is something we can do.

To do this then please select from one of the options:

- Standard (For the majority of standard hilts up to 30cm)

- Standard Long (For any standard hilt that is exactly 30cm or over)

- Crossguard (For any hilts that have additional emitters)

- Premium (For any character hilts that have special designs or additional parts to the hilt, including switchboard housing units, hilt sections that have deep channels or grooves or hilts with any parts that increase the workload on weathering)

If you are unsure which category your saber comes under then please do contact us and we will be happy to help.

If you are happy you have selected the correct option then please do continue to checkout - you will also be required to pay a shipping cost which will cover the cost of getting your saber back to you.

All weathering jobs take up to 2 weeks (on top of the production time if ordering from us) so we will get your saber sent back as soon as possible when the work has been completed.

Please note that we are unable to provide refunds on any sabers that have been customised such as weathering, battle scarring and etching.

We have the option for your sabers to be weathered, etched or battle scarred.

For the weathering, this means that we take your hilt and make it look like it has had long exposure to the atmosphere, giving it a worn, run down look and a battle used kind of look.

With etching we add a stencil in the design you choose to protect your hilt and then use acid to remove the reamining metal giving a 3D textured pattern on your saber.

Battle scarring requires us to make cuts and gouges to your hilt to make it look like it has been used in combat and been hit by another saber.

Each process requires us to either sand parts of the hilt, add marks, scratches, dents or other battle like scars or by adding paints or chemicals to adjust the look of feel of the hilt.

This is very labour intensive and can extend the lead time and increase the cost of the saber. It can take up to 2 weeks to get your saber customised - this is on top of the normal 2 week production time for the parts, core and assembly of everything.

Shipping is free worldwide on orders over £75.

Sabers normally take around 2 weeks to get through production before they are dispatched but this can increase during busy periods.

When your item is dispatched, it normally takes 2-3 days for delivery in the UK and 5-7 days for delivery outside the UK, depending on you delivery location.

Please note any additional customisation to your saber such as weathering and etching will increase the lead time on your order. This can be up to 2 weeks per job.

The majority of accessories, parts and toys are dispatched within a few days after placing your order if ordered alone and without a saber.

Sound Fonts and digital files can be sent immediately after purchase.

For the light weathering that I ordered, it was - in my opinion - too much.
It was blotchy and somtimes very dark - completely black spots on parts of the surface.
I would have guessed for some light stains on parts of the surface and darker areas in the grooves with some lighter colours othe than stark black.
(I might be a little spoiled, for i have painted and seen a lot of Warhammer 40k miniatures)
And the weathering colour is not very durable. It comes of with little effort and some steel wool. In my case that was an advantage, for i have reduced it to my liking.

Fantastic light weathering

Bought the Kanan Jarrus with light weathering and it looks amazing, in fact the whole thing is amazing. I was nervous to order it with weathering but I'm so glad I did. I have 3 others and this is the first with weathering job and I'll definitely do it again. Thank you once again ES sabers.
