- The following controls activate when the blade is on, and are based on the amount of time you hold the button or flash of the LED button light:
1) A quick press will initiate a single blaster deflect effect.
2) Press and hold the button for 0.5 seconds (one LED flash), then release. This will initiate the drag effect. A quick press will end the drag effect.
3) Press and hold the button for 1 second (two LED flashes), then release. This will initiate the color cycle. When the color you want shows, a quick press will end the color cycle.

Blade effects will affect pre-ons, but will not have any effect on Blaster Blade and Ghost Blade modes. Only blade color and font selection impact these modes.

5) Press and hold the button for 10 seconds to turn the saber off completely.
If you would like to enable/disable motion controls for turning on your saber then this can be done by accessing the SD using the card reader provided and going to the 'set' folder and opening the 'config' file in notepad.
There is an option for swing, twist and stab ON/OFF.
MOTION CONTROL INSTRUCTIONS:
The on and off motion control features can be enabled/disabled by accessing the config file on the SD card. See more here on accessing and editing features.
1) A direct and quick stabbing motion with the hilt level will turn the blade on, or off.
2) A quick twist (clockwise then quickly anti-clockwise) will turn the saber on/off
3) A quick twist (anit-clockwise then quickly clockwise) while the hilt is pointed down will change the font to the next on the list. This will work when the saber is on but not ignited.
4) A quick twist (anit-clockwise then quickly clockwise) while the hilt is pointed up will play a music track, if one or more are available in the selected fonts folder. A quick twist again will stop the music. If no music plays then the font does not contain a music file.
5) Hold the button and impact the hilt/blade to activate lockup. Release the button to end lockup.
6) While holding the button, a quick twist while the hilt is pointed down will change the selected blade color. Release the button to select the current color.
7) While holding the button, a quick twist while the hilt is pointed up will play a special effect. This will also play a sound if the correct file in included in the font.
My Saber does not have an LED ring like in the videos, how do I use it?
Some of our sabers do not have the LED rings like shown in many of the YouTube instructions videos. These sabers include the Praxeum, and the majority of the Premium sabers.
These have been designed with a slightly different button to the standard sabers due to the design of the hilt and many have switch boards which cover the button anyway.
The sabers still function the same way as the instructions in the YouTube videos but require the button to be held based on timing rather than seeing a physical LED ring.
Any mention of 1 LED flash is equivalent to holding the button for 0.5 seconds. 2 LED flashes is 1 second. 3 LED flashes is 1.5 seconds and 4 LED flashes is 2 seconds.
It can take a little practise to get used to the timing but very quickly becomes quite easy to control after using it for some time. We are currently working on a YouTube video to demonstrate this which we will get uploaded as soon as we can.
